Redefining a digital presence to reflect a modern, data-driven agency
Sensis needed a complete website redesign to better express its identity as a data driven, integrated marketing agency. As Digital Design Director, I led the redesign from concept to launch, working closely with the UX team on research and structure while directing a team of UI designers through high fidelity execution. The existing site no longer aligned with the agency’s creative depth or strategic positioning and lacked the flexibility needed to support growth.
The agency was also eager to launch quickly to align with a new marketing push, which required balancing internal goals with active client work and production schedules. This demanded a clear, evidence based approach that unified leadership while maintaining delivery momentum.
The goal was to create a modern, scalable digital presence that clearly communicated the agency’s capabilities and made case studies, services, and research more accessible and engaging.
Defining Structure and Strategy
To guide the redesign, the UX team conducted a competitive analysis of leading agency websites, identifying design patterns, content structures, and positioning strategies. The goal was to understand industry expectations and uncover opportunities for differentiation.
I reviewed research findings and collaborated with UX leads to translate insights into actionable design direction. Website analytics and stakeholder input revealed key drop off points, engagement trends, and underperforming content areas that shaped decisions around hierarchy, navigation, and storytelling.
The project also involved balancing differing opinions and goals among senior stakeholders, each with unique perspectives on how the agency should be represented online. Navigating these viewpoints required thoughtful communication and clear design rationale to align leadership on shared priorities before advancing visual exploration.
Establishing the Visual System
The visual direction emphasized clarity and confidence, using large typography, generous negative space, and a minimalist grid to convey structure and refinement. Custom illustrations, directed in house, added warmth and reflected the agency’s culture, supported by a flexible color palette and responsive grid system for consistency across breakpoints.
High fidelity prototypes were developed to define interaction patterns and demonstrate behavior for development. I led the creation of a scalable design system with modular components and a digital style guide to ensure consistency and ease of expansion. The navigation was reimagined as a unified experience combining interactive imagery, tab based layouts, and a dynamic news section to highlight case studies and thought leadership.

The final platform delivered a modern, focused experience that elevated the agency’s identity and better reflected its positioning as a data driven, integrated marketing firm. The redesigned site brought clarity in structure and tone, allowing services, case studies, and research to take center stage.
Internally, the design system and content framework empowered teams to manage and scale the site with confidence. Whether publishing insights, updating services, or launching campaign pages, content creators could move faster and maintain cohesion. The result was a refined brand expression and a future proof digital foundation built to evolve with the agency’s growth.
